FEDUP is a collective of trans+, intersex, and gender diverse people who believe eating disorders in marginalized communities are social justice issues. Their mission is to make visible, interrupt, and undermine the disproportionately high incidence of eating disorders in trans and gender diverse individuals through radical community healing, recovery institution reform, research, empowerment, and education.
OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center provides many services including programs for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. They provide support with resources, information and a lending library, a speaker's bureau, social and support groups, events, health programs, and more.
Currently, MATA runs a support group that meets every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month at 7pm and 1st & 3rd Sat of the month at 3pm.
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health promotes the highest standards of health care for individuals through the articulation of Standards of Care (SOC) for the Health of Transsexual, Transgender, and Gender Nonconforming People. While this is primarily a document for health professionals, the SOC may also be used by individuals, their families, and social institutions to understand how they can assist with promoting optimal health for members of this diverse population.
FORGE reduces the impact of trauma on trans/non-binary survivors and communities by empowering service providers, advocating for systems reform, and connecting survivors to healing possibilities. Forge provides training for providers, resources and support for transgender and non-binary individuals, friends, and family, and information for the general public.
The mission of the Wisconsin Transgender Health Coalition is to create an environment and conditions in Wisconsin that provide equitable access to health and health care for transgender, intersex, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming (TING) people.
Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and non-profit offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.
Trans Law Help Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing legal information and resources to transgender and nonbinary individuals across the state of Wisconsin and beyond. They host the Wisconsin Name & Gender Marker Change Guide and quarterly name and gender marker change clinics.
UW Health's PATH clinic supports health care for gender expansive children and teens. They provide education to families about medical care options and resources. They provide a full range of care and support based on needs of the child and family, from observation, adovacy, and guidance to puberty suppression and gender-affirming hormone therapy.
