TORI KROHN, MA, RDN
She/Her/Hers
Tori Krohn (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian nutritionist with special interest in eating disorders and mental health. She is passionate about supporting individuals in finding nutritional stability, food freedom, and body neutrality. Tori uses a client-centered approach that looks at ways nutrition and body image impact an individual’s wellness and draws from principles of Intuitive Eating (IE) and Health at Every Size (HAES). She also uses concepts and techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT therapies to help her clients make changes, address unhelpful ways of thinking, and to cope with and accept challenging emotions. Tori believes nutrition and one’s relationships with their body are integral aspects of living a full and meaningful life.
Before receiving her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Tori worked extensively in the mental health field in Madison. Her previous work led to a unique understanding of the myriad ways those with mental health challenges can experience nutrition and body image. Tori’s work in the mental health field and own lived experience ignited her passion to support individuals dealing with disordered eating, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Her educational and professional work has included research and professional presentations connecting nutrition and mental health topics, including the therapeutic relationship between dietitians and clients with eating disorders, weight stigma and mental health, and increasing insurance coverage for dietetic care for those with eating disorders.
*Tori is currently in the process of working towards her CEDS and has specialty training in nutrition treatment of those with ARFID.
